

Our Lupin Flour comes from more than 200 Families in the town of Colta in Chimborazo - Ecuador. Here they engage in agroecological practices and participate in the cultivation of the lupin beans on 100% Fair trade, respecting prices and other conditions, maintaining a good commercial relationship. We are encouraged by our communities to be environmentally aware, they understand that our planet is the source of our livelihood since they have been living in harmony with our environment for hundreds of years. Lupin is a legume with a very high protein content, calcium, fiber, iron, omega 3 and omega 6. Nutritionally, because on an ancestral harvesting technique passed through generations, it’s protein content surpasses 50% unlike any other lupin bean produced anywhere in the world and 20% healthy fats and it comes in an incredibly digestible form.
